A new guidebook titled "Union College Off The Record" is authored by some recent grads who reveal their feelings about both the campus and Schenectady.
The city is rated No. 1 and Winter in Schenectady is No. 2 on the Top 10 list of worst things about Union.
College Prowler, which publishes guidebooks about various colleges, notes that opinions were not reviewed by the schools.
The Schenectady rating didn't surprise me. I've written items about students who loved Union, but didn't enroll because they disliked rusted-out Schenectady.
