Tobacco Isn't No. 1 Problem

I am confused about the priorities of both President Clinton andthe American Medical Association. Our children are killing eachother in the streets. Parents are leaving their children homealone, hungry, cold and filthy. AIDS is killing thousands annually,and drugs are taking a horrible toll. And, of course, there arestill no cures for cancer, diabetes or other devastating diseases.

But the most important thing to the AMA and Clinton is where andwhen people should be allowed to use tobacco. Is it really moreharmful to sit in an outside stadium and smoke? Or is the smokingissue being used (excuse the pun) as a smoke screen to cloud our eyesfrom more important issues that …
