PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Flyers coach Roger Neilson begins chemotherapy for bone marrow cancer today, the team said.
Neilson, 65, met with doctors Monday before flying to catch the team charter flight to Buffalo for Tuesday night's Flyers-Sabres game.
He is to undergo several months of chemotherapy then get a bone marrow transplant in March. In the operation, the marrow is removed, cleaned and re-injected. …
